thank you to everyone who took part in Captain’s Day. I think it’s fair to say a great time was had by all — even if the pace of play was a little slower than I’d hoped, particularly for those out later in the day. Congratulations to all the winners — there were some truly outstanding scores!

Big thanks also to Renton and Karen Ball, and Nikki Webb, for running the putting competition. Congratulations to Harry Palmer, who nailed an incredible 18-yard putt to take the win. He pockets £80.50, with the same amount going to my Captain’s charity.
