Chippenham Golf Club
We are proud of our welcome at Chippenham Golf Club.
We welcome and integrate new members, particularly those who are new to the area. Membership really is a great way to improve your game, mix with likeminded people and feel a part of a proud and successful Club.
You can join at any time during the year, and we will pro-rata the membership rate, until the end of our membership year, which is April 30th. As an example, join on the 1st of August and only pay for 9 months membership.
We now charge a joining fee to any new member joining on any 7-day, 5-day, Young Adult, 9 hole and flexible members. The joining fee is £250, in which you will receive 2 members guest passes & £50 added to your bar card.

This is a great way to use the course in the quieter times, especially for those who are new to golf, or who are trying to get back into the game and are happy to avoid the busy weekend mornings.
All other member benefits are the same as 7-day members.
Flexible Membership
The Flexible Membership option is a membership category designed to help those who don’t have the time to commit to full membership but would still like to be part of the membership at Chippenham, while still receiving all of the other membership benefits. Paying a reduced fee upfront, the member then has to pay a reduced green fee every time they play - £18.00 for 18 holes or £12.00 for 9 holes.
Conditions to Flexible Membership
- The applicable green fee must be paid prior to every round. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification of membership without refund.
- Green fees must be paid alongside any entry fee for all competitions & matches.
Want to upgrade your membership? Absolutely fine! Members may choose to upgrade to full category of membership at any time during the year and pay the relevant pro-rata charge.
