Dress Code

At Chippenham, we have a relaxed approach to dress code, but we still ask that Standard Golf Attire is worn. This includes:

No Athletic, Basketball, Football, numbered style shirts or tracksuits

Gentlemen’s shirts should have collars & sleeves and must be tucked into trousers. The wearing of tapered collar style golf shirts is permitted.

Trousers should not be tucked into socks. Tailored golf shorts may be worn accompanied by sports socks. We regret that Cargo shorts are not permitted.

All Golfers must wear golf shoes when playing golf, using the practice, and putting green. Non golfers must wear appropriate robust and flat footwear.

In and around the Clubhouse:

Spiked Golf Shoes are not permitted in the Clubhouse other than the Locker Rooms and changing rooms. Spike-less Golf Shoes are now permitted in the clubhouse.

Casual clothing is permitted at any time including shorts and smart jeans. Fashion shirts may be worn outside trousers.

Flip Flops or Sports Trainers are allowed in and around The Clubhouse.

We would kindly request that Caps or Hats are removed whilst in The Clubhouse.
